Karnataka Common Entrance Test is annually being organized by the KEA to provide admission to students in various courses appears for the KCET examination. Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is an eligible test which is conducted by KEA for providing admissions into various under graduation courses in top colleges and universities. KCET Real Seat Allotment Results 2020: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has formally announced the KCET 1st Allotment Result 2020 on 2nd December. The KCET Counselling Result 2020 has been published online and can be accessed by logging onto the exam portal cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. also at KEA Official website, kea.kar.nic.in. As a part of the KCET 2020 seat allotment, candidates will be allotted seats as per their ranking in the merit and the choice of colleges and courses filled by them. Candidates must note that the seat allotment of KCET is the last step of the admission process. Aspirants can check the seat allotment list and can alter the choices online. Candidates who have secured seats will have to confirm the same by December 05, 2020.

Along with the publication of KCET Allotment Results 2020 for the 1^st Round, the KEA has also provided the timeline by when shortlisted candidates need to complete the admission process. According to the schedule, candidates needs to confirm of his/her choice by allotted seat between 3rd and 5th December 2020. Thereafter, they are required to download the admission order and pay the requisite amount of fee to complete the necessary admission formalities from 4th to 6th December 2020. The last date for reporting to the assigned institute with original documents is 7^th December 2020.

KCET 2020 Seat Allotment Process

To participate in the KCET 2020 seat allotment process, candidates must know the complete information about the seat allotment rounds of KCET 2020. Check below to get a fair idea about the KCET 2020 seat allotment rounds:  

First Round of KCET 2020 Seat Allotment:

The seat allotment for the first round will be conducted after the last date for option entry is over. The seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their merit, options the candidates entered and finally the Government’s Reservation Policy. The seat allotment procedure will commence with the allotment of seats to the candidates belonging to the special categories (Sports Category, NCC and PwD).

Second Round of KCET 2020 Seat Allotment:

The seat allotment for the second round will be held for the unfilled/ surrendered/ cancelled/ fortified or newly added candidates. The same process of  seat allotment will be followed as was followed in the first round. Candidates will be provided with similar choices for confirmation or rejection of seats. And all those candidates who have opted for Choice 2 and 3 in the first round will also be eligible for admission.

Second Extended Round of KCET 2020 Seat Allotment:

In this round of the seat allotment process, candidates will be allotted seats on the same basis as in previous rounds. This round of the seat allotment process is for the candidates who are looking for a better seat than the seat allotted in earlier rounds.
