Karnataka KCET Results 2020 HIGHLIGHTS: In just 21 days after the examination, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) released the result for the Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2020 today. Over 1.53 lakh (1,53,470) students have qualified for engineering seats this year. The students qualified in other courses are, Agriculture- 1,27,627, Veterinary Sciences- 1,29,666, AYUSH- 1,29,611, Pharma- 1,55,552

The candidates can check their results at the websites– kea.kar.nic.inkarresults.nic.in. As many as 1.75 lakh students appeared in the CET exams held on July 30 and 31.

The students can check the result through the website– kea.kar.nic.in. Click on the download result link. Enter registration and roll number. The result will appear on the screen. Download and take a print out for further reference.

Deputy Chief Minister C N Ashwathnarayan said that the counselling process will be held online this year considering the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The seat matrix ratio will also remain the same as it was last year. “While the 45:30:25 ratio will be continued, the government’s share will be 45 per cent, COMED-K and NRI/Management quota will share 30 and 25 per cent respectively,” officials clarified.

KCET entrance exam has been conducted on 30th and 31st July 2020 through offline mode. The provisional answer key has been released by the KEA after one day of the examination. KCET result 2020 has been declared on 21st August 2020 through online mode. The KCET counselling will be started from September 2020.

How to Check Karnataka-CET Result

Candidates will be able to view their results by following the procedure given below.

  • Visit the official website link (link is given above).
  • A new page will be displayed on the screen.
  • Enter the registration number (Ex. AA001).
  • Fill the security code.
  • Click on ‘Submit’ button.
  • Your result will appear in your system screen.
  • Take a printout of the result after download it.
  • Secure the printout of the result for further process.

KCET Rank Card

To check the ranks, candidates have to enter their CET number. Candidates will be also eligible to check their spot ranks from the website.

The spot ranks will be published for the candidates those results will be withheld for some reason. In that case candidates have to submit their previous qualifying exam (12th) marks.

The ranks is assigned according to the merit prepared by the KEA. On the basis of candidate’s rank, the seats will be allotted to the participating institutions.

KCET Merit List 2020

KCET merit list is announced only for the candidates those qualify the exam. The merit list is prepared after releasing of the final answer key.

The merit list contains the ranks of the candidates in higher to lower order in the merit list. On the basis of allotted ranks, candidates will be offered admission in their respective courses. Candidates will get the merit list from the official website.
