ISCE Result 2020 Highlights: ICSE Class 10, ISC Class 12 results declared; 99.34% qualified in ICSE & 96.84% passed ISC exam.

ICSE, ISC Results 2020: The most awaited results of ICSE and ISC exams have been declared today at 3.00 pm. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations has made the class 10 and 12 results available on its careers portal and website. The results are available on the Council’s official websites – cisce.org, and results.cisce.org.

Key Highlight of ISCE, ISC 2020 Result:

  • Pass percentage of ISC result 2020: A total of 88,409 candidates appeared for the ISC examination out of which 85,611 have cleared the exam. The overall pass percentage of ISC result 2020 is 96.84%.
  • Pass percentage of ICSE result 2020: Of total 2,07,902 candidates appeared, 2,06,525 have declared qualified. The pass percentage of the ICSE result 2020 recorded at 99.34%.
  • Number of candidates appeared: A total of 2,07,902 and 88,409 students had appeared for ICSE and ISC examination respectively.
  • No merit list this year : CICSE board not to publish merit list for class 10, 12 exams this year in view of exceptional circumstances: Secretary Gerry Arathoon
  • ICSE and ISC results 2020 available: All India pass percentage: The overall pass percentage of ICSE (class 10) result recorded at 99.34% while all India pass percentage of ISC (class 12) is 96.84%.15:09 (IST), JUL 10
  • How to check results from the CISCE website?

Step 1: Visit the official websites – cisce.org or results.cisce.org

Step 2: Click on the link which says ‘Result 2020’

Step 3: Select ICSE or ISC as applicable from the course option

Step 4: Students need to enter their course code, candidate UID, index number, and the captcha. Then click on submit button.

Step 5: Your result will now appear on the screen.

Step 6: Download and take a print-out for a future reference.

How ICSE marks were computed

1. Average of a candidate’s best three papers marks in the board examination
(A): The average of the best three percentage marks obtained from among the
papers the candidate has appeared for in the board examination.
2. Subject internal assessment: Total marks obtained by the candidate in the
internal assessment of the papers.
3. Percentage subject internal assessment (B): Percentage of marks obtained by
the candidate in the internal assessment of the paper. Note that it is the marks
obtained for internal assessment, expressed as a percentage.

How ISC marks were computed

1. Average of a candidate’s best three subject marks in the board examination (A): The
average of the best three percentage marks obtained from among the subjects the candidate
has appeared for in the board examination.
2. Subject Project & Practical Work: Total marks obtained by the candidate in the Project &
Practical Work of the subject.
3. Percentage subject Project & Practical Work (B): Percentage of marks obtained by the
candidate in the Project & Practical Work of the subject. Note that it is the marks obtained for
Project & Practical Work, expressed as a percentage.
