NEET, JEE Main 2020 Exam Date LIVE UPDATES:  The HRD Ministry postponed the JEE Main, NEET, and JEE Advanced entrance exams again due to the corona virus pandemic. Exams now in September. The decision was taken after considering the prevailing situation of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has decided to reschedule JEE Main and NEET once again. As per the latest update, JEE Main(2020) will be conducted from 1st to 6th September, while NEET-UG(2020) will be held on September 13th. Earlier, the NEET 2020 was scheduled for July 26 and JEE Main 2020 exam was to be conducted from July 18- 23.

Keeping in mind the safety of students and to ensure quality education we have decided to postpone JEE and NEET examinations. JEE Main 2020 examination will be held between September 1st to 6th, and JEE Advanced 2020 will be held on September 27th and NEET 2020 examination will be held on September 13th, tweeted HRD minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.

The decision to reschedule the entrance exams has come after suggestions submitted by the expert committee consisting of officials from the National Testing Agency (NTA) and other experts to review if the conditions are conducive to conduct the entrance exams. The expert committee had submitted the suggestions today i.e July 3, 2020.

The  ministry had decided to to review the situation after students and parents raised their concerns regarding the safety of the exam takers as the COVID-19 situation is worsening across the country.
