GATE Application Form 2020: The correction window of GATE 2020 application form will be opened on 15th October, 2019. The conducting body, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi has notified on the official website of GATE 2020 that candidates will be able to edit their application form Tuesday onwards. Candidates who wish to make changes in the details provided in their GATE 2020 application form can do so. Also, candidates can correct errors in certain fields that they have made while filling up the application form of 2020. The correction window of GATE application form 2020 will be made available on appsgate.iitd.ac.in. A direct link to the application correction window will also be provided on this page.
The corrections that will be allowed include – name, father’s name, college name. Candidates will be required to login to the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) with their User name and Password to make changes in the application form of GATE 2020. IIT Delhi, however, has not mentioned if an additional fee will be charged in order to make those changes.
Earlier, it was notified to the candidates that no changes will be permitted in the GATE 2020 application form after the application period was over. It was only mentioned that changes for changes in examination centre will be accepted with an additional fee until 15th November, 2019. The opening of application correction window will further reveal the details about the correction fee charges and the number/type of changes permitted in the GATE application form 2020.
The Indian Institute of Technology will issue the GATE 2020 admit card after the submission of final data after correction. The admit card of GATE 2020 will be issued on 3rd January, 2020. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is a national level exam which forms the gateway for ME/M.Tech, M.Arch, Integrated PhD admissions, and also PSU recruitments.
